More Einstein Inspiration

The world was really blessed when people like Albert Einstein were born, who gave so much to the world, so much to learn, so much to see. People like him have an extraordinary vision and out of the box thinking. He was so inspiring, his quotes and his works. His one such quote still inspires many, but also taunts the education system in some areas.

I live in India and I’m a student, so I’ve observed how the education system has been here. It’s like a fixed path, walking on which is a necessity. The blurry epitome of the system is that you’ve got to get your undergraduate degrees so that you may pursue what you want, till then, you go with the crowd. It’s not 100% true before some people disagree to it, but for most of the part it is.

There are numerous people with special talents in India, and understandably so being the second largest populated country in the world. But some of those, don’t have resources, some don’t get to show it due to the present system and those who have the resources, the money and all the extra facilities are the ones who are not so special. Ironical a bit, but yes.

I may not be too experienced or old to comment more on my country’s education system, which is thankfully getting a bit better but at a slow pace, so I would just come back to Einstein.

Albert Einstein was an ocean of knowledge and is acknowledged by the whole world for his tremendous works in the field of science. But the man was more than just science, he knew about the world, he understood it. He understood people’s minds. And that’s why he said this amazing quote:Please-climb-that-tree1

“Everyone is a genius. But if you judge a fish by it’s ability to climb a tree, it will live it’s whole life believing that it is stupid.” – Albert Einstein

A quote which always inspires and will continue to do so.

Quote of the day

There are times when people mess up and I am somewhat suffering through that. I am unable to post regularly because of some personal issues. But I found this motivation for myself and I thought to share it with you guys. During these times, these quotes are the type of the little things that drive you forward and it helps me, hope it helps other people too (I’m being honest). 🙂

Great words by Emma!

Today is one of the world’s most beautiful actress and social worker’s birthday, the beauty of Britain – Emma Watson.

Well, I don’t expect everyone to know her birthday but yeah, she’s famous too. Many of us know her by her character Hermoine Granger in the movie series Harry Potter. She is a social worker too, and she actively participates in bringing gender equality and equal rights to women around the world.

For those who don’t like her as an actress, you must admire her efforts towards the society. 🙂

So, I’m not just posting this because she’s one of my favorite actresses or some similar reasons, but I watched her 2013 MTV awards acceptance speech in which she quoted a beautiful line, and I thought that today would be the perfect day to post it. It’s a quote worth following!

“If you truly put your heart into what you believe in, even if it makes you vulnerable, amazing things can and will happen.” – Emma Watson

HAPPY BIRTHDAY EMMA! 🙂

Hakuna Matata! :D

It’s just been a few years since I’ve dropped watching cartoons, it was my favorite hobby though. I still remember many of the ones which I used to watch and most of them were incredible. It remains a dream now, what a life that was, just turn the TV on and sit back and watch cartoons all day with nothing to worry about.

Well, someone on Facebook posted about this cartoon ‘Timon and Pumba’ which was one of my favorites and I don’t really know if it is there on the TV channels now but it was one thing which made me laugh all through and just keep watching it. I still want to watch it and all the other ones. I wonder when will I get to do so.

The two ‘heroes’ of the cartoon as they say it, always had fun together and showed an incredible bond of friendship. A funny one as well, which made it simply amazing and truly entertaining. Many of you might have watched it too and I don’t think that there was something ‘not to like’ in this.

It was really humorous but it taught me one phrase and I still remember it. Yes, it’s the title of this post, ‘HAKUNA MATATA!’ This phrase has a really pleasing meaning and yeah, we may call it a lesson from the childhood. The phrase means ‘No worries for the rest of your days’. I always kept on saying it while watching it and they even told it’s meaning in the episodes, but now is the time when I realize it. I now realize the fun that they had is worth having in our lives as well, in the lives of everyone. Well, we all have worries but the ones who enjoy themselves despite of all of that are the ones who have an amazing life.

The meaning and the phrase may be short and simple, and also that I may have written a lot on those two short yet unique words, but the beauty behind them remains eternal. I know it’s related to childhood and they sound kiddish, but even now, every time you say it, some of your stress might just slip and make you smile.

HAKUNA MATATA everyone! 😀

True perhaps….

I got this quote from my friend, she’s been reading the book ‘The Little Prince’ by Antoine De Saint-Exupery and she told me that the book is amazing. It is based on the difference in the perceptions of a kid and an adult of how they look at the world in their way. I haven’t read the book, she has been reading it. I really liked the quote by the way and thence, I am sharing it with you guys. Also, reading this quote makes me want to read the book and I will read it someday.

“Grown-ups never understand anything for themselves, and it is tiresome for children to be always and forever explaining things to them.” – The Little Prince

I love reading quotes and thanks to her for adding this to the tally.

Today’s Quote:

The news of his departure left the world a little less magical. Everyone is devastated with the event and everyone will surely miss him. He was a true legend. His most famous role, that of Professor Severus Snape in Harry Potter made the world fall in love with him, and he did it amazingly well. Oh, what a man he was! This is one of those beautiful words that he said:

“Talent is an accident of genes – and a responsibility.” – Alan Rickman

Everyone will miss the true legend and he will forever remain in our hearts. The world has lost a true diamond.

Rest In Peace.

A quote worth a read

I was going through my textbook today and I was reading this amazing chapter ‘Deep Water‘ by William Douglas. There in the last paragraph I found these beautiful lines about fear and death.

In death there is peace. There is terror only in the fear of death , as Roosevelt knew when he said. “All we have to fear is fear itself.”

It was something alluring and I wanted it to share with everyone! Also, I would advise you to read the chapter, though the chapter itself is an extract of the autobiography of William Douglas.
